In the early 1960's James Edwin Wood began to develop his latest talent as a landscape painter to which he was able to devote part of his time until he decided to retire early from printing industry management in 1982. Although most of his work is commissioned James Edwin Wood is also a successful exhibitor and has exhibited regularly in Britain and Greece (Aegina island) where he spends much time. His singular style of capturing nature in hew many moods , particularly
in his native North and the Greek islands, haw found appreciative collectors
of his work in Greece and in countries as far apart as Japan, Europe and
the USA.
